Since 2000, the Department of Pharmacy at Srinagar Group of Institutions has been a home for curious minds and rigorous training — producing pharmacists who go on to serve hospitals, communities and industry across J&K and beyond.
Founded in 2000 as the flagship pharmacy department of Srinagar Group of Institutions, we began with a single D.Pharm batch of 30 students in a small two-room lab. Today we operate four accredited pharmacy programmes — diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral — out of a purpose-built campus with eight PCI-compliant laboratories.
Our graduates fill roles in community pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, hospital formularies, drug regulatory affairs, pharmaceutical manufacturing and research institutions from Srinagar to Mumbai, Dubai and Toronto. Pharmacy Council of India approval means every qualification you earn here carries national weight.
